Climate change deemed as an opportunity, not as a burden

Climate change needs to be seen as an opportunity, not as a burden, for people to take action. Slashing greenhouse gas emissions can lead to an array of co-benefits. According to the chair of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the agriculture, forestry and land-use sectors are accounting for about 24 percent of the total emissions of greenhouse gases, and have great opportunities for mitigation.
